Cyber threats have quickly evolved over the past 10 years resulting in crippling attacks against small and medium sized businesses by manipulating the financial transaction system for multi million dollar heists. This presentation will discuss the most devastating cyber scams the FBI is fighting today - the Business Email Compromise, point of sale malware, banking Trojans and ransomware. Unfortunately most small and medium sized businesses are unprepared to defend themselves against even the simplest of schemes. In the past10 years, the private sector and governments around the world have started to fight back with a series of public disclosures and legal actions. This presentation will discuss these defensive actions and what everyone must do to defend themselves against the dynamic actors behind these attacks.
