NASA's Space App Challenge will be held in Romania for the third consecutive year

Space Apps is an international hackathon that occurs over 48 hours in cities around the world.

For the third consecutive year, NASA’s Hackathon will be held in Romania and will take place between October 19-21, simultaneously in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi and Timisoara. The generic theme of this year’s edition is Earth and Space.

The purpose of the event is to link NASA data in a collaborative manner with people around the globe who can find solutions to these challenges.

Coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, and everyone enthusiastic about curiosity come together to address challenges we face on Earth and in Space.

Space Apps participants create solutions to mission-related challenges using problem-solving skills, open data, robotics, data visualization, hardware, design and many other specialties.
