The establishment of an academic partnership can be compared with a marriage: one needs to know (more or less) what one wants and expects, to invest time to find and choose the right partner, to get to know the partner, and last but not least, to be prepared for challenges.
The main ingredients: equality, mutual recognition, compatible characters and complementary personalities. And on top, willingness to work and make it last.
In the rapidly changing global society, we thought of an improved recipe of the content shared via iCEE.fest. The exchange of ideas and inspiration comes now with a sustainable backbone, for a long term proposal to all those interested in constantly improving their profile, personally and professionally.
The partnership between iCEE.fest and Sheffield University – the new academic partner of the Interactive Central and Eastern Europe project – represents the association of one of the largest and most significant digital and tech related initiatives in the CEE and SE Europe region with a world class top university with international expertise, practice and experience.
- The University of Sheffield has risen in the latest QS Global Rankings as a Top 100 University for excellent teaching, research and international reputation.
- In the last 10 years, they offered Sheffield EMBA in Bucharest
Both sides aim to bring the winds of digital change in the region, to equip people, institutions and companies with new knowledge, practices and most importantly with the capacity to efficiently implement it.
What’s in for you?
As part of this academic partnership, Sheffield University grants the iCEEfest community access to two scholarships with 50% discount for the Sheffield EMBA and the MA in Management and Digital Innovation, offered in cooperation with the National School of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA).
Selection is based exclusively on the evaluation of the Sheffield team, made upon application with CV and motivation letter.

On the other side, all the members of the Sheffield University will benefit from a special discount to enter the festival (Bucharest, June the 15th and 16th).
