Ruxandra Mocanu is a senior marketing professional with +20 years experience in various industries and roles. Driven by curiosity and passion, she is always up to exploring and coming up with new approaches for the business solutions she provides. Her complex academic background and interests include a BsC in Cybernetics, a Master’s degree in PR & Communication and she is currently completing her Master’s degree in Anthropology.

She considers her mission to make a difference in people’s lives by using digital technology and among her top accomplishments she mentions the volunteering project for the Department for Emergency Situations - fiipregatit.ro, the National Emergency Situations Preparedness Platform launched last year.

Today, as part of the The Human Link team, she uses her skills, empathy and energy to develop a solution for a better life for those affected by Alzheimer’s, patients and caregivers.

The Human Link is a platform that aims to offer a better life to elders and patients with dementia by providing them with more freedom, reducing their caregivers, healthcare professionals and families stress and anxiety and decreasing the costs of care. We address the major challenges that impact families with Alzheimer’s patients in home care and professionals in caregiving institutions and facilitate the management of a serious, debilitating disease through integration of various technological, medical and financial instruments. 

This month, The Human Link represented Romania in the global final of the world’s best social startups competition Chivas Venture 2019.
