These days, Grant Sabatier is known as the Founder of Millennial Money, partner at Eduvantis LLC, and author of the forthcoming book “All The Money You’ll Ever Need” (Avery/Penguin/Random House) set to be released in February 2019.
But things weren’t so good for Grant, just a couple of years ago.
“Just after college I was unemployed, living at home with my parents, and had only $2.26 left in my bank account. 5 years later I had a net worth of over $1 million”
And here’s the proof:
In order to help other young entrepreneurs to succeed, Grant is very open when it comes to offer the infos that brought him in the current financial situation: a millionaire.
“I was working full-time at a digital marketing agency and had only been there about three months when I sold my first side-hustle gig. The project was building a website for a small law firm in Chicago for $500. I was so pumped to sign my own client, but really realized I was onto something when I sold a $50,000 website to a much larger law firm about 60 days later”, Grant Sabatier for TIME
From that moment, he went from $500 projects to $100,000+ projects in less than two years. Very important, no matter the size of the project he always tried to add as much value as possible.
Then, he started to save 15% of everything he earned, then 25%, then 40% and started investing.
- Over the past 6 years Grant have read over 300 books on personal finance, investing, and other financial topics (almost one a week!)
After reaching financial independence at the age of 30, Grant Founded MillennialMoney.com, where he writes about investing, personal finance and entrepreneurship.
- Millennial Money is a personal finance, investing, and entrepreneurship community dedicated to financial independence and early retirement
Grant has been featured in over 200 international media outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, National Public Radio, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Inc. Magazine, Forbes, Toronto Star, The Sydney Morning Herald, and many others.
PS: Although he’s got 69.2 bitcoins in his “pockets” – that’s close to 700,00 USD at today’s bitcoin value – , Grant said a couple of months ago that “I don’t recommend you invest in Bitcoin today“. @ iCEE.fest, we’ll see if he changed his mind about this topic.
